Horn ICOON

The horn is a brass wind instrument. It is a beautiful instrument with a warm tone. The horn can be found in various orchestras such as the symphony orchestra, the concert band and the brass band. The horn is also common in smaller ensembles.

In principle, children can start with horn lessons from about 7 years (after consultation with the teacher). It is important that the front teeth have changed.

With daily practice and positive attention from the parents, children learn quickly. Children don't often choose the horn, but there are certainly good reasons to do so:

● if you play the horn, you can easily join an orchestra or music association: this is how you learn to play together;

● there are adapted, lighter instruments for children, making playing the horn easier;

● by playing the horn, children develop an excellent breathing technique;

● the horn has a beautiful, dark sound.

For beginning enthusiastic players up to 12 years old (flute, horn, bassoon, clarinet or oboe), who would like to make music with other children, there is the Basic Package 1st year. You will then receive 25 minutes of individual lessons and 10 minutes of group lessons. That makes playing even more fun!

Advanced students are also welcome: every advanced lesson is given by a teacher who can teach you plenty.
