Bassoon

The bassoon belongs to the wooden wind instruments and, like the oboe, has a double reed. The bassoon has a special and distinctive sound and a lot of music has been written for it. The bassoon appears in various orchestras and ensembles, such as the symphony orchestra and the concert band. The bassoon is also widely used in smaller ensembles (chamber music).

Because there are bassoons available today with reduced finger distance (special children's bassoons), it is possible to start bassoon lessons as early as 7 years old.

For beginning enthusiastic wind players up to 12 years old (flute, horn, bassoon, clarinet or oboe), who would like to make music with other children, there is the Basic Package 1st year. You will then receive 25 minutes of individual lessons and 10 minutes of group lessons. That makes playing even more fun!
